Eyerusalem Tesemma is an Ethiopian journalist, human rights activist, and a graduate of Materials Engineering and Journalism. She has worked with several political media outlets in Ethiopia, focusing on human rights, justice, and accountability. Her journalism has consistently highlighted grave human rights violations and the impact of conflict on civilian populations.As a result of her professional work and advocacy, Eyerusalem faced political persecution and was forced to flee Ethiopia. She currently lives in exile in Uganda, where she continues her journalism with 251 Media, with programs airing on Mereja Television.Eyerusalem is deeply committed to ethical journalism, freedom of expression, and the role of media in peacebuilding and democratic transformation. Through her work, she seeks to amplify marginalized voices and contribute to informed dialogue on conflict, human rights, and sustainable peace in Ethiopia and the wider region.
