Hans Olav Sundfør (H) is the mayor of Lillehammer Municipality for the period 2023 to 2027. He is a farmer and served as a municipal representative in the municipal council during the last two terms before being elected as mayor. Additionally, he has been the first alternate representative to the Norwegian Parliament (Stortinget) and a county council representative. Sundfør holds degrees in forestry, physics, mathematics, and economics, and he previously worked as a researcher at the Norwegian Defence Research Establishment (Forsvarets forskningsinstitutt) and NATO.
