John Steinmark

John Steinmark (b. 1990, Frankfurt am Main) is Programme Manager for Frankfurt Calling – Perspectives on Culture and Politics at the Frankfurt Book Fair, where he curates international conversations at the intersection of literature, society, and political thought.rnHe is currently developing the Young Voices Network, a cross-institutional initiative that connects and supports emerging writers, publishers, and cultural actors across borders, with a focus on strengthening the next generation of voices in the global literary field.rnPreviously, he worked at the German Publishers & Booksellers Association on projects related to freedom of expression and contributed to the organisation of the Peace Prize of the German Book Trade.rnHe occasionally writes and DJs.
