Vladyslav Troitskyi (1964) is Ukrainian theatre producer, director, playwriter and scenographer. In 1994, he founded CCA «DAKH», the legendary and first independent theatre and centre of contemporary art in Ukraine. He is a creator and president of the international multidisciplinary festival platform of contemporary art «GOGOLFEST» (2007), which is one of the top 5 European festivals according to EFFA and other imperative cultural projects: world-music quartet DakhaBrakha (2004), intellectual freak cabaret DakhDaughters (2012), music formation NovaOpera (2014). He is a guest stage director in theatres in Hungary, Switzerland, Poland, Germany, Georgia, Czech Republic with more than 10 international productions. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion to Ukraine, Vladyslav with his team have been creating art resistances activities around the world to present the originality and uniqueness of Ukrainian art and to destroy the myth of russian great culture. Vladyslav is the cultural changemaker and avant-garde theatre enthusiast, the prominent figure in Ukrainian theatrical and cultural field.
