World Expression Forum (WEXFO) is now inviting young people from Norway aged 18–25 to apply for WEXFO More Young Voices 2026 – an international Erasmus+ group exchange focused on freedom of expression, youth participation, and democratic engagement.
The project brings together young participants from Norway, Poland, Sweden, and Germany and is organised in collaboration with the Nansen Academy, the National Youth Council of Poland, Ung Zon, and European Youth Press.
The project has received funding from Erasmus+ and Sparebankstiftelsen DNB.
Youth exchange in Lillehammer
More Young Voices 2026 will take place from 29 May to 3 June 2026 in Lillehammer, Norway. The programme begins at the Nansen Academy and continues with active participation in WEXFO’s global conference on freedom of expression.
The exchange is designed specifically for young participants and combines:
- participation in WEXFO’s main conference programme
- tailor-made workshops and group tasks
- reflection, dialogue, and experience-sharing across countries
Together, these elements create a unique learning space where young people can explore how freedom of expression is practiced, challenged, and defended in different social and political contexts.
Why More Young Voices?
By joining the project, participants will:
- connect with engaged young people who care deeply about freedom of expression
- gain confidence in participating in public debate, discussions, and online dialogue
- develop skills and experience relevant for local, national, and European engagement
- become part of a growing European network focused on youth voices and democratic participation
- feel inspired to pursue further education, training, or civic involvement
All participants will receive a Youthpass certificate, documenting the competences and learning outcomes gained through the exchange.
All participation costs, including travel, accommodation, and meals, are fully covered by WEXFO.
A special call for Norwegian youth
WEXFO is particularly eager to recruit Norwegian participants for the 2026 exchange. The project offers a rare opportunity for young people in Norway to take part in an international learning environment – and to bring Norwegian perspectives into a wider European conversation on freedom of expression.
Participants are not expected to be experts. Curiosity, motivation, and an interest in using one’s voice in society are what matter most.
